The goal of this editorial design was to create a layout that is fun, engaging, and visually appealing while maintaining readability and balance. Built on a multi-column grid, the spread provides a flexible structure that seamlessly integrates text, images, and illustrations. This approach enhances visual interest while ensuring a smooth reading experience. The structured grid not only improves text flow but also reinforces legibility, guiding the reader’s eye effortlessly.

Custom illustrations add a dynamic touch, bridging the gap between informative content and visual storytelling. The combination of illustration and typography brings the subject to life, making the article both engaging and accessible. These elements work together to capture the celebratory nature of brigadeiros, a beloved Brazilian treat.
The final design successfully embodies the spirit of the article—playful, culturally rich, and visually captivating. Through the thoughtful use of colour, structure, and imagery, the layout creates an inviting and immersive editorial experience while adhering to fundamental design principles of balance, hierarchy, and readability.
